Lower tiers will have trouble penetrating the front of the Panther due to its excellent sloping, and rather large gun mantlet (for both turrets), however it should avoid taking hits from more powerful guns as it is more prone than usual to taking critical hits, especially engine and ammo rack. The Panther excels as a mobile sniper, especially with the 7,5cm L/100, and should not brawl as it does not quite have the maneuverability to effectively circle heavy tanks. Take on your foes from a distance in the Panther as the more maneuverable American and Soviet mediums are better suited to dog-fighting. Coupled with its speed and highly accurate guns it turns into a very deadly sniper. One thing that changes from the stock panther turret is the shot trap on the VK 30.02(M) turret was blocked with a small plate below the mantlet. The Panther is a basically the VK 30.02(M) with more health and a better sniping gun. Very poor concealment for its intended role.Fast and rather heavy, good at ramming lighter and weakly armored tanks.Large health pool for a medium tank, comparable to (or even higher than) same-tier HTs.The L/100 gun has outstanding penetration, and is also very accurate. The Panther shines as an excellent mobile-sniper, but as top tier can contribute on the front lines as well. While it has a low damage totals, and a fairly slow rate of fire for a 75mm gun, it can penetrate virtually all lower tier tanks from any range, as well as higher tier opponents with well aimed shots. Once the Panther is fully upgraded and sporting the long, accurate 7.5 cm KwK 45 L/100, it's one of the best sniping tanks in tier. Its lack of firepower, added to the weak hull sides, make this tank an easy victim in firefights. At stock, the Panther is armed with the 7.5 cm KwK 42 L/70 which, although a bit low on damage, has sufficient penetration and accuracy for its tier. Upon reaching the Panther, you will quickly find that the inherited sniper playstyle still applies. This famous tank was produced from January 1943 through April 1945, with a total of 5,796 vehicles built plus eight vehicles built on the F series chassis. In some instances, it might be more viable to keep the second 76mm gun and play like an overweight Easy 8.The Panther is a German tier 7 medium tank. Instead, circle around and hit enemies at close range while they're busy with your allies. The Pawlack's low DPM and terrible hull armor makes sidescraping and corner fighting into non-options. If you can find sufficiently tall cover and can park behind it, leave only your turret peeking out for relatively safe defense options. However, the ability to peek out and blast enemies for 240 damage can make up for a great many sins. Keep the Pawlack out of sight and in flat ground as you approach enemies, though don't approach too closely the very un-American 5 degrees of gun depression will cripple your hill-fighting ability, and your height will make it hard to hit shorter targets near to you. However, the Pawlack is surprisingly nimble for its size, and while it's no Easy 8 it will still move faster than many of the other heavy tanks lumbering around at this tier. Compared to other heavies of this tier, the defenses can be easily found lacking the unusually tall turret ring is surprisingly flat at the front and easy for most same-tier guns to penetrate, and aside from the turret front, the rest of the armor is thin and unreliable. Though classed as a heavy, the Pawlack Tank is something more like an upgunned medium tank.
